Wouldn't You Prefer to Be in a Group?

Running and walking are so much more fun with friends

You're invited to try some sessions before deciding whether a membership will be suitable.

We have walking and running speeds to suit all abilities so if you'd like to join then next step is to book a call with our Head Coach.

You may be nervous but from the second you start the session with your group you'll realise there's nothing to worry about.

Book a Call with Conor

In this call we'll discuss whether you''ll be a suitable fit for attending club sessions and what to expect if you attend.

A Social Couch to 5k Programme with Loads of Guidance

I am currently doing the couch to 5k, I love the social side of it, having others to motivate me and also getting all the Information every week about any problems I have, and what the week plan is.

Trepidation Be Gone

I started with some trepidation as a couch potato in Jan 2017 and by the end of March I had done my first Park Run (5km).

I continued running throughout 2017 as a stress buster and the club coach, Conor Graham, helped me with my technique and stamina.

Now at the beginning of 2018 I am working towards my first Half Marathon. Completely unbelievable and I would have given up a long time ago without Cheltenham Running Club.

Highly recommended.

You can Transform into a Runner!

Very friendly. You don’t need to be a runner to join , as with the support of the coach and your running friends, you can be transformed into a runner. Want to walk instead? No problem join the walking group. Age isn’t a barrier either. I joined when I was well into my 60’s. Conor designs a personal training plan for you. He’s always contactable for advice .

Joined Couch to 5k in Lockdown!

I joined CRC in lockdown 3 as I set myself the challenge of completing Couch to 5k! With the support of Conor and my fellow C25K squad members, the useful Zoom calls and training videos I did it! I'm now in the Summer Squad working my way towards 10K and love the support and encouragement of running with others now we can! Everyone in the club is super supportive and the comments you get in the Facebook group really help to motivate you. Who would have thought I would be running 3 times a week and why did I leave it until my 50s to do so!!!

I ran Gloucester 10k by November, never thought that would be possible before!

I joined CRC in April 2017, and it was the best decision...Was not a runner at all previously, but with amazing community and support I ran Gloucester 10k by November, never thought that would be possible before!
