Beginner to Half Marathon

By Cheltenham Running Club

June 26, 2016

Are you thinking about running a Half Marathon but unsure if you’re fit enough?

Improper training for running events could ruin running as a form of fitness. You can complete a running event no matter what your fitness if you recieve the right training. Our training squads make it easier and more fun than you think.

In this video Head Coach, Conor Graham, talks about how we train our members for the goals they set for themselves, Cheltenham Half Marathon included. He explains how having a personal running programme helps to over come obsticles like holidays or work and setbacks like illness. Coach Conor asks one of our Couch to 5k members to explain why she’s going to start a running programme to help her complete her first half marathon.
